She had a serious -rather angry- expression on her face, and it was all because she knew he’d turn down her offer if she didn’t insist enough. Her lips curved gradually when he finally agreed until they formed a wide smile. “Got it! Spring outfit ideas,” she repeated, only to remember the instruction and then walked past all the mess to reach the clothing pieces. “And you are welcome.” She gave him a soft smile this time. “Have you eaten anything? I know you tend to skip meals when you are working,” she said as she organized everything to have the pieces on display for her.
“Eaten?” Lune repeated the word as if it was the first time he’d heard it before realizing just what the other was asking. “Ah, no. Not yet. It just slipped my mind.” He explained with eyes glued to the laptop screen in front of him. “My wallet is in my bag to your left. You can take the corporate credit card and order us whatever you’d like.” He added, knowing that his assistant would insist on eating something, so he decided to beat her to the punch. He turned to see what she was working on, pleasantly surprised by the outfits being curated by the beautiful woman. “Oh those are lovely… I wouldn’t have thought to pair any of the pieces together.” He added, reaching for his glasses as he rose to his feet and made his way over to examine her work closely.
Eating slipped off his mind, exactly as she thought. Lily nodded, straightening her back to scan the room, and as if she had a radar incorporated, she found the bag quickly. With her phone in hand, she ordered a couple of dishes that were healthy but delicious, since he hadn’t eaten anything she thought of something nutritious for both of them. “Alright, food will be here soon.” Once she had that task crossed from her list, she returned to her previous spot and started playing with the clothing pieces. “I thought about combining shapes and silhouettes. But I need…” She looked around, tapping her chin. “This, over this.” She layered the blazer over the top she’d chosen, leaving room for him to judge. He was the expert.
Lune could only nod in approval as he watched from the side as each outfit slowly came to life before him. He was silent, watching her work carefully and taking in her each and every choice. It was unique, fresh and current, but still a little bold. It was rare for Lune to be left without any critiques or questions for the stylists, but here was Lily his assistant doing a better job than some of his senior designers. “No notes. I like it, I love it actually.” His tone was quiet and face still quite serious. The ordered food the least of his concerns now. “Lily I think you should start accepting resumes from people looking to take your current position.” He began, grabbing his reading glasses and putting them on as he sat back down in his chair. “I’ll be moving you to our styling team in the coming weeks.”
Lily turned to look at him. She didn’t even give herself the time to soften her facial expressions. There were no critics…? Did he really like what she did…? She had been working for Lune for quite some time, and she was aware of his keen eye and attention to detail. Also, the young lady had been present when he reviewed the work of the senior stylist. When he wasn’t pleased, he would let them know, and his point was always firm and clear. “Thank you, I’m-” Her smile faded instantly. He didn’t say anything negative about her choices but now she was wondering if he had been sarcastic about it and it was the end of her job… However, the surprised expression was back, both hands covering her mouth and softening the gasp that almost escaped. “The styling team!?”

Haru raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms on his chest. Were they trying to hide their hand? For what purpose if he had seen the wound already? The male tilted his head to the side and his eyes followed the blood drops hitting the ground. “You don’t have to explain anything, but I can see what’s going on,” he said softly, returning his gaze to the person. “But you have to treat it as soon as possible.”
“I might be a bit drunk and ended up cutting my hand when I was trying to cut my BBQ-chicken… Turns out… It’s hard to focus on things… When you’re drunk. At least you’re not a vampire… Or are you, hm? My mind is a bit blurred at the moment.” Shinwoo muttered, slightly slurred with his words, looking over other and rubbing his cheek, his face slightly reddish from the alcohol.
They had been celebrating his uncle’s engagement with family friends, so he had been drinking quite a bit earlier.
Haru raised an eyebrow, paying attention to his behavior. His words were slurred, his body rocked from side to side for balance, and it was clear that his cheeks were red. “Lucky you, I’m not a vampire and don’t think they exist.” He chuckled. “Either way, you are not a ‘little’ drunk. You are ‘really’ drunk.” As he spoke, he patted his pockets and pulled a clean napkin from his jacket. Haru reached out to grab the other man’s hand and cleaned the blood as best as he could. “Come on, let me take you home. I’ll treat the wound better there.”
“Yeah it’s very optimized for us as I made sure of that.. Thank you.” Junyoung grinned. He nodded “We do travel across the country and we usually vlog it too. We have a joint channel together with a mixture of content. Though most of it’s travel.” He nodded and chewed his lip a bit. “I feel a bit guilty sometimes since Minki’s room is so small.
“Do you have a channel together?” Ian asked as he glanced up at the other. “I will look for it!” Even though he exclaimed the last sentence, he was still whispering. “It must be so fun to travel across the country and document everything,” the man said, although it was more of a comment to himself while he imagined how it could be. “Do all RVs are the same size? What about getting a bigger one?” The difference in size between the two rooms wasn’t easy to perceive in the dark, but he believed in Junyoung’s words.
“I sure hope so too! Do you know how hard it is playing a matchmaker with three people involved? I’m not even Cupid. If something happens, I’m taking out the arrows out of the garage and coming straight for your ass!” Was Tai being overdramatic? Yes, he was. But in a more serious note, Tai truly wanted things for them to work out for a very very long time.
